DATABASE RESOURCES

Your first go-to when looking for information for your assignment are databases. Use Biography in Context and the Literature Resource Centre (which you can find on the Online Resource Centre). When searching in the databases, just type in the author's name or the piece of literature you are researching and refine your search from there.

Citation Information

You can access the handout here. For some research tips and a bit more on citations, check out the library's research page.

One of the best sources to use when creating your bibliography is the Owl Purdue Site. Always double check your MLA format whether or not you take it directly from the database. Sometimes online formats can be off a bit.

If you use google docs, you can use easybib to help format your citations. Watch this short video for instructions on how to use it.
