The Strathcona Education Foundation is a registered Not-for-Profit organization of which all parents with students enrolled at Strathcona are members.
Purpose of the Strathcona Education Foundation
Strathcona Education Foundation, or SEF, is a group of parent volunteers that manages and disburses money acquired through parent fundraising efforts. Our purpose/mission is to support the advancement of education at Strathcona High School through providing financial support for excellence in scholastic, arts, business, and athletic achievements.
All parents are encouraged to attend. Meetings will be held at 6:30 pm on the following dates in Student Services before School Council meetings. This year, our meetings will be a combination of in-person, online, and hybrid (both online and in person). We welcome all Scona parents to attend our meetings. Meeting dates for the (2026-27) school year are as follows:
- Tuesday, September 29 - AGM (before the Meet the Teacher) (In person): 5:00 pm
- Wednesday, October 21(In person): 6:30 pm
- Wednesday, November 25 (Hybrid): 7:00 pm
- No December meeting
- Wednesday, February 17 (Virtual): 7:00 pm
- No March meeting
- Wednesday, April 21 (Hybrid): 7:00 pm
